Design 01

Mono Stringer

Open riser

A single laser-cut steel stringer runs down the centre of the staircase, with visible tread support plates carrying each step. The most structurally direct of our designs and the most forgiving on site — it suits open-plan living areas, lofts and entryways where you want the floor to keep flowing underneath. Treads can be solid wood, marble or quartz, and the stringer can be powder coated in any of our thirty-four colours.

Design 02

Cantilevered

Floating staircase

The structure is buried in the wall behind drywall or panelling, so the treads appear to project out of nothing. This is the most demanding design to build and to install, and the one that draws the most attention in a finished home. It requires a structural wall and close coordination with your framer, which is why we supply the shop drawings and engineering before anyone starts cutting.

Design 03

Zig Zag

Open riser

An open-riser design that lets light and sightlines carry straight through the staircase, so a narrow hallway or a split-level entry feels considerably larger than it is. Stringers are 2″×4″ tube on the left and right side with square tube tread supports underneath, which keeps the folded profile crisp while carrying full residential load. Pairs particularly well with frameless glass railings.

Design 04

Curved, Elliptical & Spiral

Open or closed riser

Rolled steel stringers formed to your own geometry, in either an open or closed riser. Every curve is drawn to the specific opening, which is why no two we build are the same. Treads can be solid wood, marble or quartz, and LED lighting can be integrated under the treads or along the stringer. Curved and helical work above a certain scale runs through Stairs Pro Atelier, our commission studio.

Double Stringer

Laser cut steel

Laser-cut steel stringers on both the left and right side, giving a balanced, symmetrical staircase that reads as a single piece of steel. There are no visible welding or assembly marks anywhere on the finished stair — corners are rectified and the whole surface is brought to a smooth finish before powder coating. The most requested design for a main staircase, and the lowest vibration underfoot of anything on the market.

Waterfall

Closed riser

A closed-riser structure with the treads and risers mitred together on a 45-degree angle and no nosing overhang, so each step folds into the next in one clean line down the flight. The closed face makes it the quieter and more child-friendly option, and a popular choice where the staircase sits in full view of a living or dining area.
