Who we are
STAIRS PRO is a custom staircase manufacturer based in Vaughan, Ontario. We design, engineer and build staircases and railings for private homes, custom builders, architects, designers and commercial projects, and we ship them across North America.
Every stair we make is drawn for one specific opening.
There is no catalogue stair here. Each project starts with your dimensions and drawings, gets modelled in 3D so you can see it in your own space, and then gets cut, welded, finished and installed by the same team. Across Canada we handle full supply and installation. In the United States we crate and deliver, ready for a local install crew.
The reason we work this way is control. When drawings, laser cutting, welding, finishing and timber all live in the same building, the tolerances hold and nobody is waiting on a supplier three provinces away.
Buy direct
Most staircases reach a homeowner through a chain of resellers. Ours do not.
A clickable PDF you fill in on screen. Type in the client details, the dimensions, and tick the tread, finish and railing upgrades — then email it straight to us and it goes into processing. That is the whole order. No back and forth, no dimensions lost in an email thread, no guessing which finish was agreed. Print it instead and the reverse is a grid field for sketching the opening on site. Nobody else in this industry gives you one.
You buy from the people who actually build it. No dealer margin, no broker, no middleman marking up a staircase we made anyway. It also means the person who quotes your job is the person who draws it, cuts it and stands in your hallway installing it, so nothing gets lost being handed down a chain of companies who have never seen your opening.
Design, laser cutting, forming, welding, finishing, timber milling and installation all happen under one roof in Vaughan. Nothing is farmed out to a shop across town. When the drawings, the steel and the timber live in the same building the tolerances hold, and if something needs changing we walk it down the floor rather than wait on a supplier three provinces away.
About a week to turn your dimensions into full architectural shop drawings and a photoreal 3D rendering of the staircase in your own space. Then two to three weeks in production once you approve them. You are not sitting in a queue behind somebody else’s job, because the queue is ours and we control every stage of it.
Laser-cut high-grade steel with rectified corners rather than rounded ones, welded on the inside of the stringer so no mark shows anywhere on the outside, and assembled with no visible bolts. It gives the lowest vibration of any open riser staircase on the market, which is what keeps a stair from flexing or creaking a year after it goes in.
Premium materials throughout, from the cold-rolled steel to the hardwood treads and the stone. Our timber comes from Canadian mills in white oak, red oak, walnut and many other premium species. Everything is built here in Ontario to your drawings, rather than pulled off a shelf or shipped in from overseas and adjusted to fit.
Full-cycle production
Twelve stages, all of them ours. This is the same sequence whether the stair is going into a house in Vaughan or onto a truck heading south.

We begin with a full set of architectural shop drawings, taken from the exact dimensions of your space and drawn in full compliance with your local building code. Every rise, run, fixing and clearance is set down before anything is cut.

While the shop drawings are being prepared, we produce three realistic 3D renderings of your staircase with every order. You see the finished stair in your own room from three angles — materials, finishes, railing and lighting — so you understand exactly what you are getting before a single piece of steel is cut. Nothing goes into production until you approve them.

Using the highest grade cold-rolled steel, every single component is laser cut. That is what delivers perfect symmetry, maximum strength, and the lowest vibration of any open riser staircase on the market.

Each laser-cut piece is inspected, then all components are welded on the inside of the stringer. Nothing shows on the outside — no visible welding mark anywhere.

Once welding is complete, every stringer is hand ground and polished to a smooth, flawless finish with refined rectified edges.

We source only the finest lumber from Canadian mills. Choose solid treads and landings in white oak, red oak, walnut or many other premium species and materials.

Each step and landing is produced to your specified dimensions and thickness. Choose a tread thickness anywhere between 2.25 inches and 5 inches.

Once your wood thickness is reached, our C.N.C. cuts each tread and landing to its final custom size.

After C.N.C. cutting, our master carpenters hand sand every tread and landing until the surface feels perfectly smooth to the touch.

Send us a sample of your flooring and we colour match it exactly. Our professional spray system delivers a flawless, dust-free stained and varnished finish that is both beautiful and extremely durable.

From final approval to completion, our average production time is just two to three weeks. We carefully crate your staircase and arrange shipping or pickup directly to you.

Our staircases are custom engineered yet modular, like assembling a premium puzzle. Our team is available to guide you through the entire installation.
How We Work
Four steps from your first message to a staircase on your floor.
Send us your architectural drawings, floor plans, or even just a few clear photos of your space. We prepare a detailed quote within 24 to 48 hours.
Once you accept the quote we complete the agreement and immediately create architectural shop drawings and three realistic 3D renderings, so you can see the finished staircase from every angle before it is built.
On your approval of the drawings we begin production, manufacturing every component to your exact custom dimensions in premium materials.
After a final quality inspection we carefully crate all parts and arrange delivery directly to your home or jobsite.
